What type of company is Orpheus?

Orpheus Capital is a fully digital Shariah compliant financing company with the primary focus of providing financing solutions to assist in the economic development of working individuals and the underserved and unserved SMEs businesses.

Orpheus offers three types of services – which are invoice financing, contract financing and payday financing (GajiNow). All our products are Shariah compliant and conform to Islamic principles. Invoice and Contract Financing will assist the SMEs in minimising their cash-flow gaps.

Our services can be used by anyone as long as they are SME’s (for invoice and contract financing) or employees/gig workers (for payday financing).

For SMEs, you are eligible to apply if:

  1. Your business is a Malaysian registered business (including sole proprietor, enterprise, and Sdn Bhd);
  2. Your business is providing services or goods to other Malaysian businesses (Business-to-Business nature)
  3. Your business is majorly owned by Malaysians (more than 51%) and has been in operation for at least 1 year.

Between 1.0% and up to 1.5% per month subject to our credit assessment result.

No tangible security or collateral is required from you.

The entire process is completed within 24 – 48 hours including disbursement.

No, you do not. All transactions are done fully online. You are only required to sign digitally using our Digital Signature technology.

Contract / Invoice Financing FAQs

What is Invoice Financing?

Invoice financing is a cash flow solution that enables businesses to get advances on money owed by customers upon completion of goods or rendered services, without waiting for the delays of payment terms that can range from 30 days to 90 days.

Invoice Financing is suitable in the case of a business deciding to sell their invoices (upon completion of goods or rendered services) to a third party, a Financing or Factoring company at a discount, such as to Orpheus. Orpheus then takes over the task of collecting the receivables by the predetermined deadline. With Invoice financing, you can get instant upfront payment of up to 80% of the invoice amount without having to wait for the payment terms from your customer.

For invoice financing, up to 80% of the invoice value will be disbursed into your bank’s account as quickly as within 24-48 hours.

Maximum up to 80% of invoice or contract value. We are able to offer financing beginning from RM10,000 (minimum) and up to RM 200,000 (maximum). The tenure of the facility is up to 6 months or 180 days.

Apart from the cost of financing, there is a profit sharing fees (max 18% per annum) there is a one-off platform fee and an admin fee (starts from RM750 depends on Company credit Score).

There will be a late payment fees incurred and all the additional amounts will be donated into charities.

8 documents are required to be prepared by you for the Invoice Financing application, which are :

  • Your bank statements of the last 3 months
  • Photocopy of IC
  • Joint and Several Guarantee
  • Director’s Resolution
  • Letter of Factoring
  • Letter of Consent
  • Invoice
  • Facility Agreement

and the rest of the documents are digitally prepared by our platform.

Yes, the platform will send a notification via email informing them on the arrangement of payment assignment to Orpheus.

Who is Eligible to apply?

Contract workers (Local and Foreign) with a minimum salary of RM1500 are eligible.

  1. Photocopy of Identification Card (front + back view)
  2. Payslips from the past 3 months
  3. Bank Statement From the Past 3 Months

A maximum of 50% of gross monthly salary between RM 450- RM 2500. The tenure can range from 15-30 days.

There is a platform fee of RM7.50 and an admin fee from RM35-RM95 (calculated based on our unique credit scoring algorithm)

Nope! Our entire process is done digitally.

Yes there is a late payment fee of 1.5% of the outstanding amount, which we will be donating to charities.

Technical FAQs

Why can't I upload my PDF documents in the application portal?

PDF files and documents must be sized less than 2MB to be uploaded. Steps to compressed PDF files to a smaller size using online PDF compressor:

  1. Google any online PDF compressor
  2. Upload the PDF file that exceed 2MB
  3. Once uploaded, proceed to compress the PDF files
