What type of company is Orpheus?
Orpheus Capital is a fully digital Shariah compliant financing company with the primary focus of providing financing solutions to assist in the economic development of working individuals and the underserved and unserved SMEs businesses.
What are Orpheus' products & services?
Orpheus offers three types of services – which are invoice financing, contract financing and payday financing (GajiNow). All our products are Shariah compliant and conform to Islamic principles. Invoice and Contract Financing will assist the SMEs in minimising their cash-flow gaps.
Can anyone use Orpheus services?
Our services can be used by anyone as long as they are SME’s (for invoice and contract financing) or employees/gig workers (for payday financing).
For SMEs, you are eligible to apply if:
- Your business is a Malaysian registered business (including sole proprietor, enterprise, and Sdn Bhd);
- Your business is providing services or goods to other Malaysian businesses (Business-to-Business nature)
- Your business is majorly owned by Malaysians (more than 51%) and has been in operation for at least 1 year.
How much is the cost of financing being charged?
Between 1.0% and up to 1.5% per month subject to our credit assessment result.
Do I need to provide tangible security/collateral?
No tangible security or collateral is required from you.
How long is the process for the approval and disbursement of financing?
The entire process is completed within 24 – 48 hours including disbursement.
Am I required to come to the office to sign a facility contract/agreement?
No, you do not. All transactions are done fully online. You are only required to sign digitally using our Digital Signature technology.
How easy is it to use the Orpheus website and make an application?
Using our website application couldn’t be simpler. You simply follow the along the registration forms, upload all the details and documents needed. Once your application is approved, you will receive your funds within 24 – 48hours.

What Technology does Orpheus utilise?

Does Orpheus conduct its business according to Shariah/ Islamic finance ?
We can assure you all our products are compliant to Shariah and Islamic principles. We have a prominent Shariah scholar advising us on the products and services. All our legal agreements have been vetted, reviewed and approved by a reputable Shariah scholar as well as a top legal firm in the country.
Contract / Invoice Financing FAQs
What is Invoice Financing?
Invoice financing is a cash flow solution that enables businesses to get advances on money owed by customers upon completion of goods or rendered services, without waiting for the delays of payment terms that can range from 30 days to 90 days.
How Does Orpheus Invoice Financing work?
Invoice Financing is suitable in the case of a business deciding to sell their invoices (upon completion of goods or rendered services) to a third party, a Financing or Factoring company at a discount, such as to Orpheus. Orpheus then takes over the task of collecting the receivables by the predetermined deadline. With Invoice financing, you can get instant upfront payment of up to 80% of the invoice amount without having to wait for the payment terms from your customer.
When will the funds be released into my account? How long does it take to disburse?
For invoice financing, up to 80% of the invoice value will be disbursed into your bank’s account as quickly as within 24-48 hours.
What is the margin of financing that I am eligible to apply for?
Maximum up to 80% of invoice or contract value. We are able to offer financing beginning from RM10,000 (minimum) and up to RM 200,000 (maximum). The tenure of the facility is up to 6 months or 180 days.
Are there any other fee/charges imposed?
Apart from the cost of financing, there is a profit sharing fees (max 18% per annum) there is a one-off platform fee and an admin fee (starts from RM750 depends on Company credit Score).
What happens if my client doesn’t pay the invoice on the due date?
There will be a late payment fees incurred and all the additional amounts will be donated into charities.
What documents do I need to provide if I want to apply for Invoice Financing?
8 documents are required to be prepared by you for the Invoice Financing application, which are :
- Your bank statements of the last 3 months
- Photocopy of IC
- Joint and Several Guarantee
- Director’s Resolution
- Letter of Factoring
- Letter of Consent
- Invoice
- Facility Agreement
and the rest of the documents are digitally prepared by our platform.
Does Orpheus notify my paymaster/contract awarder about the financing facility from you?
Yes, the platform will send a notification via email informing them on the arrangement of payment assignment to Orpheus.
Gajinow FAQs
Who is Eligible to apply?
Contract workers (Local) with a minimum salary of RM1500 are eligible.
What are the documents required for the application?
- Photocopy of Identification Card (front + back view)
- Payslips from the past 3 months
- Bank Statement From the Past 3 Months
How much cash can I receive?
A maximum of 50% of gross monthly salary between RM 450- RM 2500. The tenure can range from 15-30 days.
What is the cost of the GajiNow financing facility?
There is a platform fee start from RM7.50 and an admin fee from RM35-RM95 (calculated based on our unique credit scoring algorithm)
Are any in-person paperwork submissions needed?
Nope! Our entire process is done digitally.
Is there a late payment fee?
Yes there is a late payment fee of 1.5% of the outstanding amount, which we will be donating to charities.
How is this different to traditional banking?

Technical FAQs
Why can't I upload my PDF documents in the application portal?
PDF files and documents must be sized less than 2MB to be uploaded. Steps to compressed PDF files to a smaller size using online PDF compressor:
- Google any online PDF compressor
- Upload the PDF file that exceed 2MB
- Once uploaded, proceed to compress the PDF files
Why am I encountering errors in the application portal?
We are experiencing intermittent technical issue with our website system today. While we are working on it, try using an alternative browser from the one you are using now as this may help with the issue. You may try clearing the browser cache by following steps below:

- Check on the checkbox “cached image and files”
- Delete data, then proceed to login and continue with the application.
